Empowering Young People to Thrive

Our High Country Campus, located just outside Jindabyne, was developed by the School in partnership with the Redlands Parents and Friends Association and it opened in 1996 with two accommodation buildings. It is home to our flagship Winter School, a nine-week residential program  for Year 10 students and to Year 7 and 11 Camps.

Our Moonbah Program, commencing in 2025, will provide all Year 9 students with the opportunity to spend a term in an immersive residential environment of self-discovery, collaborative learning, relationship building and community mindedness at High Country Campus. They will engage in a variety of learning and recreational pursuits including project based learning, First Nations education, community service, outdoor education, cocurricular activities and sports; in addition, there will be a focus on bespoke wellbeing and mindfulness activities tailored to the beautiful High Country Campus.

High Country Campus Development

Our High Country Campus requires further development to accommodate the entire Year 9 cohort during two terms.

We are grateful for the support from our community for this development. Independent schools fund their development from saving, loans and donations. We are seeking philanthropic support of AUD$1M and this target will be the focus of an inaugural Redlands Giving Day on 21 August, through which we seek to mobilise the support of our community.

If you would like to learn more about the expansion plans, join us as a matching gift donor or support us on the day, please contact me directly.

If you wish to make a donation in this financial year, please visit here. We are offering family recognition plaques for gifts of $10,000, $5,000 or $1,000.

Alumni Update

Stephanie Ng RL 2019 visited from the UK

We were thrilled to catch up with Stephanie Ng RL 2019 during her visit back to Sydney. Stephanie recently graduated from Central Saint Martin’s College, University of the Arts in London with First Class Honours! She is now on her way to Colombia University USA to do her Masters in Architecture!

“It was really surreal to come back to Redlands and to visit my IB art teacher Mr Harpley. Now five years on from Redlands, I have been very blessed to have had many great opportunities being in London and soon, New York. I know that none of it would have been possible if it hadn’t been for my high school Art and Design teachers, Mr Harpley and Ms Alan, who always went above and beyond for their students, truly inspiring us for life and for Ms Salier, our Careers Advisor, for opening our eyes to so many possibilities after graduation. They really changed my life and for that I will always be grateful for them.” Stephanie
