Welcome
A very warm welcome to Term 1, 2023!
I trust that you have had a relaxing Christmas and New Year and managed to have a nice family time during the break. I was very fortunate to travel overseas and spend Christmas with my family in the Czech Republic. It was wonderful to reunite and spend this precious time together with loved ones.
A very special welcome to our new families. Redlands is known for its open and warm community and I hope you soon will feel part of it. There will certainly be many opportunities to meet other families soon with our annual Twilight in the Garden event for parents and carers on Friday 17 February and also with the Redlands Autumn Fair on Saturday 18 March.
During the holidays our Property Services team has very busy upgrading the following our learning spaces:
Monford Learning Precinct
This new learning precinct welcomed our first students on Monday 30 January. It comprises six large rooms – four classrooms used for various subjects, one classroom for our Drama program and one staff room for Drama and Dance.
Liggins Update
Another significant schedule of works which has been undertaken during the holiday break is the refresh and upgrade of the classrooms in the Liggins building. This historical building, which this year is celebrating 100 years since its official opening, will be further refurbished upstairs. We will provide further update once the term unfolds, in the meantime please read HERE.
Thank you to all members of our community who have supported the Liggins Restoration Appeal so far.
Alumni Newsletter – Term 4 2022
Just before the holidays, the last issue of Alumni News was published with updates on reunions and news from our vibrant Alumni community.
