Belinda Oxley Scholarship Awarded – Thank You!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported us last year and contributed to the Belinda Oxley Scholarship. It was a journey which started with an amazing turnout at the Arts Luncheon back in May 2021!  Despite the COVID-19 restrictions in Term 3, the community got together and honoured the legacy of much loved former staff member, Belinda Oxley, who served at Redlands for 23 years.

Congratulations to Lily Musgrave-Kresa who has been awarded this prestigious Scholarship. Lily is a Year 6 student at Cammeray Public School where she has achieved exceptional academic results and is a Sports House Captain and a member of the Debating team. She is a Founding Youth Ambassador of the Sustainable Sports Program, which received the 2021 North Sydney Young Persons of the Year Award. Lily plays First Clarinet in the Concert and Stage Bands and is very active in Sport – representing her School in PSSA Soccer, PSSA AFL and Zone Cross Country (3000m). She was invited to play Diamond League Soccer and is also involved in Dance and Gymnastics. We are excited to be welcoming Lily to Redlands in January 2023.

Junior School and Prep School PCGs on Senior Campus

We were delighted to welcome PCG representatives from the Junior Campus to join us for an informal tour around the Senior Campus. This was a great opportunity to understand the continuity of the educational journey from Junior School to Secondary Secondary as well as the broad offering of opportunities. As this experience was greatly appreciated, we will be looking to conduct more visits.

Redlands Melbourne Cup Luncheon – Bookings Open

After a 2 year hiatus the tradition continues as we host the event that stops the nation at the Sergeants Mess in Chowder Bay overlooking stunning Sydney Harbour.

Early Bird tickets are available NOW until 30 September.

To book, simply put down your seating preferences by Year Group or names of guests. Tables of 10 are available and a limited number of tables of 12.

Online Auction

As part of this event we will have our online silent auction raising funds for the means-tested Dr Sue Morey AM Scholarship Appeal. The auction will be open to the whole School from Thursday 13 October and will close at the Luncheon.  The auction would not be possible without the generous contributions of our School community in donating prizes for the auction, our raffle and sweeps on the day.  If you can help, please contact Jenni De Jager, Foundation Administrator at foundation@redlands.nsw.edu.au.
