Industry Visits
On Friday 14 May, Yr 10 students attended their Industry Day. A total of 13 companies hosted 155 students between them, five of whom were Redlands Alumni and Community workplaces recruited by Caroline Jane, Redlands Alumni Manager and included Connected Culture (Zoe Gomez, Class of 2017), We are Kindred (Elizabeth Renkert, Class of 1993), MHPD Architects (Benjamin Johnston, Class of 1991), Snowy Mountains Hydro (Redlands parent) and The Agency – Jon Snead (Redlands Community partner).
Industries included Accountancy, Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Fashion, Finance, IT, Law, Marketing, Performing Arts, Real Estate and Technology. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with students, staff and hosts all benefiting from this unique opportunity.
“Thank you for accompanying us throughout our visit to The Agency on Friday, it was a truly wonderful and eye opening experience. Overall, the visit to the Agency was exciting and informative and I am glad that I had the opportunity to take part in it” Joseph, Yr 10.

Tickets are $15 per student, including popcorn and filtered water. Students are encouraged to bring their own drink bottles for refilling. This event will be supervised by Yr 12 students and Redlands staff.
