Drama and Theatre
Welcome Back to Term 4
What an exciting term we have ahead of us. From Curriculum performance evenings to Musical rehearsals and Extra-subject soiree performances, we cannot wait to see the skills and abilities students have developed throughout the year. Last week, Yr 9 went to Looking for Alibrandi at Belvoir Theatre. The beloved novel and film of migration, growing up, and Sydney is now a play.
It was such a fantastic experience as part of the Drama curriculum program.
The Addams Family Company Rehearsals
We are very excited to start rehearsals this week with Orchestra rehearsing from 3:30 pm-5:00 pm.
In Week 3 we will have a Company meeting on Wednesday at lunch in the Drama Studio. This is only for students currently in Secondary School.
Senior Curriculum Performance Evenings
This term we have the Year 8 senior curriculum performance evenings, showcasing their classwork over the semester. We encourage friends and family to attend to support all students involved. Please see the information below for these evenings.
Extra-Subject Drama and Theatre
Enrolments
Enrolments for 2022 are now closed. Information about 2023 enrolments will be available in the coming weeks.
End-of-Year Soirees
Our Drama program will present the end-of-year soirees performances for Acting, Music Theatre and Film on our Senior Campus from Week 7 – Week 8 in Term 4. A letter will go home to families in the upcoming weeks.
