Drama and Theatre

Welcome back to our lovely Redlands Drama and Theatre community – we look forward to an exciting year of creativity in the Extracurricular Drama program.

2024 saw many of our young performers shine on our Redlands stage. Our Junior School students performed their long-awaited Year 5 Musical Madagascar Jr and Year 6 performed the wild and wacky musical, Seussical Jr. Both performances were a smash hit! The crowd loved it. The performances were incredible with remarkable ensemble work on display. We couldn’t be prouder of our young Redlands performers!

Congratulations to the talented Year 5 and 6 students who performed and their fabulous musical directors Andrew Wang, Annika Bates, Helena Cielak and Andrew Waldin.

We would also like to say a special thank you to Ben Hanning (Yr 12) for stepping in for an unwell actor the night of the Senior Acting Showcase. Ben, you saved the show and your performance was absolutely flawless. Thank you!

2024 was a truly wonderful year in the Extracurricular Drama space, with so much talent on display!

We can’t wait to see what 2025 will bring!

Extracurricular Drama classes will resume as normal from Week 3, 10 February.

Year 5 and 6 Musical Theatre returns to the 5pm finishing time and will only run until 6pm in Semester 2.

2025 Enrolments will remain open until 3 February on our Redlands Drama and Theatre Pulse page. Alternatively you can email drama@redlands.nsw.edu.au to enrol or if you have any questions regarding the programme. Enrolments are for the Semester.

We can’t wait to see what our young performers get up to this year!
