End of Year Extra Curricular Drama Showcases
This week Extra-curricular Drama celebrated more of our young Redlands students’ talent with our Musical Theatre and Acting end of year showcases.
Kindergarten and Year 1 were very excited to share their work with you in their wonderful end of year Show and Tell. Kindergarten Musical Theatre, led by their wonderful tutor Mikayla Bargh performed various songs and scenes. Their performance of A Rainbow Connection brought tears to many eyes. Year 1 performed various songs with a simply outstanding rendition of Colours of the Wind led by our wonderful Drama and Theatre tutor Andrew Wang.
Years 2, 3 and 4 Musical Theatre also performed outstanding showcases with shows ranging from Hercules to The Lion King to Year 2’s Magic Beach and a truly beautiful version Castle On A Cloud.

The Acting program also performed successfully to an adoring crowd. Alice in Wonderland was a real hit.
Alice in Wonderland – Years 3-6 Acting
Year 5 and 6 Acting performed a gripping court room drama , I guess the Big Bad Wolf will need to appeal.
Year 1 Acting nailed their self devised version of the Three Little Pigs they called Pig Town.

We are all so proud of our young Redlands Performers and can’t wait to see what they do next year!
Senior Musical Theatre
This Wednesday the 27th Senior Musical Theatre will perform their self devised cabaret show and on Thursday the 28th year 5 and 6 will perform their Junior musicals Madagascar and Seussical Junior in Redlands Hall. We can’t wait to see you there!
