Drama and Theatre
Welcome to Drama 2023
Welcome to the 2023 school year. I’d like to introduce myself as the new Head of Drama and Theatre. My previous role, which I held for six years, was Head of Drama at Pymble Ladies’ College and I’m also a Senior Marker for the HSC with NESA. I hold a Masters in Research of Philosophy in Education from Sydney University.
I’m really excited about the year ahead; we have a fantastic Drama program led by outstanding Drama teachers in both Curricular and Cocurricular, and I’m thrilled to be leading this faculty. Redlands offers a variety of courses in Acting, Theatresports, Musical Theatre, Film and Production for students from Preschool to Year 12. There are lots of fabulous activities, festivals, performances and competitions planned for 2023. This term we have our Musical, The Addams Family, which will be held at Chatswood Concourse on the 23, 24, and 25 of March, and we have many other Drama performances to look forward to throughout the year.
I’m sure this will be a great year for Drama at Redlands and I thank you for involvement in the Drama program. If at any stage you have any queries or feedback on the Drama program, please email; drama@redlands.nsw.edu.au

Redlands will be presenting this fun musical on the 23, 24, and 25 March in The Concourse Theatre. Our full rehearsal schedule has been emailed to all Musical company families. Exact scenes, songs and students required for each rehearsal are available on the Theatre and Drama Pulse page. Students are reminded to be prompt to all rehearsals, bring plenty of food and water, wear appropriate clothing as required. We are really looking forward to this coming Sunday with our full cast.
