Musical 

Congratulations to all the students who were part of the brilliant success of this year’s spectacular Musical Shrek. This year seemed slightly different as we juggled the complications of COVID 19. As they say in theatre ‘The show must go on’ and that is exactly what happened. There was an exciting buzz in the theatre and we are proud of all the energy and commitment every student brought to the production. Whether the students were on stage, under the stage, side of stage or working with complicated set pieces, they gave their very best, learning many new skills and making many strong friendships across all Year Groups. This wonderful experience could not have taken place without the support and assistance of so many people. 

The Musical Team would like to thank all the staff, tutors and parents, in particular Tracy Everingham and Sue Banfield for volunteering and giving up their time to support this fantastic production.

Extra-subject Drama and Theatre 

Classes are going well. If you want to enrol your child please contact drama@redlands.nsw.edu.au. Some classes are at capacity and have a waitlist. 

Reminder: A friendly reminder to communicate with your child about their extra-curricular classes in the morning. We have had cases were students are in car line or their designated pick up spot and have needed to be located before class starts. Please ensure any absences are sent to drama@redlands.nsw.edu.au or your childs class tutor prior to the lesson.

Thank you to all the students and parents involved in the program. We had some minor shifts in leachers last week due to the Musical and thank everyone for their understanding and commitment to the program. Highlights from the weekly lessons will recommence next week.
