What a busy few weeks it has been in the Drama and Theatre world. From the Activities Fair to Junior Theatresports, students are finding their feet and rhythm when coming back to face to face learning. 

Musical Update 

All musical families have been added to the Shrek iLearn page. Rehearsals are going fabulously and are thrilled after the Act 1 run. 

Tickets 

Tickets will go on sale in March. More details to follow

Extra-subject Drama and Theatre 

Classes are going well. If you want to enrol your child please contact drama@redlands.nsw.edu.au. Some classes are at capacity and have a waitlist. 

Reminder: Please ensure you email drama@redlands.nsw.edu or your childs class tutor about absences prior to the lesson. 

Highlight of the Week: Preparatory School 

Prep Music Theatre: “We had fun today singing Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, acting like monsters and dancing like Gummy Bears” 

Highlight of the Week: Junior School 

Yr 3 Acting: “ We are on an island as coconut kitties and we are in charge! How fun” 

Highlight of the Week: Senior School 

Yr 11 and 12 HSC Drama Onstage excursion

“The program featured a selection of exemplary group and individual projects from 2021 Higher School Certificate Drama students including performances, video drama and a moved reading of a script. The energy in the theatre was palpable and it was awesome to see the hard work other drama students have done to achieve such incredible performances”.
