Captains for 2022
Congratulations to our new student leaders for 2022. We welcome Bella Kendrigan as Captain of Drama, Louise Colin as Captain of Theatre and Alex Gibbs as Production Captain. Congratulations to the new Arts Captains Callum Wardman-Browne and Mia Kloiser Jones. We wish them all well as they embark in these roles of leadership and look forward to seeing them develop as great young leaders in 2022.
Drama Celebration
While the Drama Studio Stage may have been quiet for a while now, our students have been very busy creating theatre which we’d love to share with you. Each year our Drama Celebration showcases highlights from all aspects of our Drama and Theatre Program and acknowledges the outstanding contribution made by our students with awards in each area. This year the Drama Celebration will be released online so our Secondary School parents and families can join with us as we celebrate our students achievements. Nominations for our awards will be announced in Note Day in Week 7. The Drama Celebration Film will be released towards the end of this term where the winners will be announced.
Enrolments for 2022
Classes continue to the end of term and resume in Week Two Term One 2022. Anyone interested in joining us for 2022 should complete enrolment forms available from the Drama and Theatre office via email at drama@redlands.nsw.edu.au.
New enrolments for all Extra Subject classes in 2022 are now being accepted. Please note there are waitlists in many courses. Students discontinuing courses must notify the Drama Office before the end of term.
Shrek Callback Auditions
Callbacks for cast and band have been announced here. Callbacks auditions must be uploaded via iLearn by 8am on Sunday 31 October. The Cast and Orchestra will be announced on Friday 12 November. Please note, the Company size (Cast, Crew and Orchestra) will be strictly limited to a maximum of 60 due to COVID restrictions.
