Dance Academy
Redlands Dance Academy would like to thank you all for your hard work, dedication and support whilst we celebrated 25 Years of Dance at Redlands in 2023.
It has been a huge year with great results in Exams and Competitions and we had some wonderful chances to perform internally with special class watching, solo soirees and of course the Dance Awards. The Dance Awards gave us the opportunity to come together to honour the past, celebrate the present and embrace the future, and we did just that by showcasing all our senior dancers (and some of our junior performers) in spell bounding dances of all genres. We presented our new logo and demonstrated our direction and aspiration for the Academy moving forward.
Our End of Year Performance was an extremely enjoyable experience for all involved and it was clear that our audiences for all three performances left feeling elated and proud. A massive congratulations again to everyone who took part in the creative process from prop and wing making to makeup, to dancing your hearts out. It takes huge commitment and collaboration to make a show a success and we certainly did that.
Moving towards 2024 we are excited to present our updated timetable where you will find some new and exciting opportunities across all ages. In Preschool we are introducing Mini Movers which allows our youngest dancers to experience a little bit of every genre, and Years 1 and 2 are now able to enrol in Hip Hop and Contemporary classes. From Year 3-12 we have introduced Lyrical classes, and from Year 5-12 the opportunity to direct your classical training toward the RAD Discovery Repertoire training program. We are busy organising workshops, talks and intensive programs that will be available throughout the year such as ‘Dancer Well-being’ and ‘A Conversation with…’. Once these events have been confirmed, we will provide you with full details and Humanitix links for booking.

Enrolments for 2024
Please see our Enrolments Pulse page and our Timetables Pulse page for details on 2024 classes and how to enrol. Please take the time to read through the information on our 2024 classes, which you will find on both these pages.
Please note that Semester 2 2023 classes do not roll over to Semester 1 2024 classes. This means if your child is currently enrolled in an Academy class, you will need to re-enrol them for Semester 1 2024.
Priority Enrolments
Current students enrolled in Semester 2 2023 classes are given priority (first option) to re-enrol in 2024 in in the genre they are already enrolled in.
Priority enrolments opened 10am Thursday 30 November and close end of day Sunday 3 December.
Please note you will be able to enrol in a new genre of dance when Academy enrolments open to all at 10am Monday 4 December.

Lost Property
Please check the Lost Property cupboards located opposite studio P1.6 in Parkes Hall. We have lots of bits and pieces with no name, waiting to be collected. Please note these cupboards will be emptied at the end of term 4.
