Community Update
My thanks to all of the important groups of committed and generous volunteer members for their assistance and support through 2024. In particular, Brittne Whitelaw, the President of the RPFA, Grahame Petersen, Chair of the Foundation Advisory Committee, Natalie Davies, President of the Redlanders Alumni Association and Karen Nicholson, our outgoing and long serving Chair of the Friends of Groups, thank you for your leadership and guidance through an extraordinary year of connection for our community in our 14oth year, highlighted by our Festival of Redlands.
We are fortunate at Redlands to have a community with a strong and generous tradition of service and giving and we thank all members of our community who supported us this year in raising funds for the means-tested Coralie Amos OAM Scholarship and the expansion of our High Country Campus through our inaugural Giving Day.
A reminder to join us for our Community Carols this Sunday at 5pm at St Peter’s Cremorne. This informal gathering offers a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together to enjoy the joy and peace of the season. Light refreshments will be served and all are welcome.
With the end of another School year approaching the Redlands Parents and Friends Association continue to actively bring our various groups together. A number of social events still remain in the calendar and these can be found here along with our 2025 events.
I have been overwhelmed by the warmth and generosity of our community through 2024 and look forward to meeting more of our parents and carers through 2025.
I remain grateful for the continued guidance and support our community provides and, as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
The Community Engagement team wish you a happy, healthy and peaceful break with your family over the festive season and Summer holidays.
