Women in Surveying Day
Rebecca Faurby (Yr 12), Caitlin Wong and Cara Eccleston (Yr 11) volunteered to attend this inaugural event this week. In Cara’s words: “the surveying day was an interesting experience that opened my eyes to the world of surveying and taught me a lot about the profession. I learnt about the shortage of surveyors and I was inspired by how passionate each of the surveyors and speakers were at the event. During the lunch, it was very helpful to be able to talk to the actual surveyors to learn about what the reality of the job is like”.
