Congratulations to Isabella and Angus McLachlan, both Yr 8, who progressed to the Semi Finals in the RAD Intermediate level at the recent Isobel Anderson Memorial Awards. Congratulations to Maddison Hand, Yr 7, who also progressed to the Semi Finals entering at Intermediate Foundation level in the same competition. Excellent results, well done Izzy, Angus and Maddison!

Please remember to share your child’s achievements with us so that we can announce them! We love to share what students are doing.

A Dancer’s Brain Develops in a Unique Way

A recent study within the neuroscience field discusses how the practice of dance can help us feel more connected to each other in a technology filled world. It also finds that dancers displayed stronger synchronisation at the low theta frequency. Theta synchronisation is linked to emotion and memory processes which are central to all interpersonal interaction and self-understanding.
