Students Achievements
Firstly a huge congratulations to all our Senior students who received their RAD exam results over the holidays. Well done! An absolutely wonderful achievement. A special mention to Isabel Dong, Alyssa Tinetti, Alina Filatova and Ella Banfield who all received Distinction in their grades. Congratulations!
Jazz Auditions
Jazz auditions are on Friday 1 February.
Levels 2 and 3 3.30-4.00pm
Levels 4 and 5 4.30-5.00
Junior Jazz Performance Group 5.00-5.45pm (Yrs 5 and 6)
Senior Jazz Performance Group 5.45- 6.30pm (Yrs 7 and 8)
Contemporary Auditions
Senior Advanced Contemporary auditions are on Friday 8 February 5.30-6.30pm (from Yr 8)
New Term – New Faces
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome all our new Ballet and Dance students to the Academy. Come and say hello and meet the staff! It will be a wonderful year.
We also have new teachers on board:
Julie-Anne Kerr is a RAD examiner with long standing teaching experience as a former Co-Director of Tanya Pearsons Coaching Academy. Julie-Anne is highly experienced and well respected as a Classical Ballet teacher and coach.
Shelley McShane, a well experienced and qualified Jazz and Contemporary teacher will be covering Miss Marcia’s Jazz classes in Term 1 as Miss Marcia is on maternity leave.
New Uniform
We have a new top for Jazz and Contemporary. It is not yet mandatory but we will encourage all new students to wear it. Please ask in the Uniform Shop (not Bloch) for the new Jazz top.
