Our little Redlands House Senior and Transition students enjoyed their class yesterday with Ms Maria, and posed beautifully for photographer Vicki Skarratt. Not many buns in this class, but lots of hairspray used throughout the day in all grade classes.
We are hoping that this will spark a desire for buns on ballet days! Please continue to remember to bring hair brushes, nets, pins etc.
Isobel Anderson Memorial Awards 2022
Academy students’ Dante Minassian, Imogen Jeffery-Bilich and Summer-Eve Smyth have been taking part in Preliminary Classes for the RAD Isobel Anderson Memorial Awards this week. If successful they will move onto the Semi Finals, take part in a workshop to learn some newly commissioned Choreography and then on to the finals. Good luck students!
Isobel Anderson was appointed RAD examiner in 1952, she chaired the NSW advisory panel and was appointed its Patron. Ms Anderson was awarded a Fellowship of the RAD in 1986 and in 1987 the Isobel Anderson Awards began in her honour.
Interestingly Ms Kate has been an invited choreographer for these awards and worked personally with Ms Anderson, and Ms Samantha is training this year to become an RAD examiner.

10:30am – 11:30am on Tuesday 29 March in P1.6 (Ballet Studio) in the Parkes Hall on Junior Campus.
