Ballet and Dance Academy – Dance Captain 2022
Congratulations to our new Dance Captain for 2022, Kyle Banfield! The first ever male Redlands Dance Captain, Kyle has made an outstanding contribution to ballet and dance at Redlands over the last 5 years. A highly skilled dancer, Kyle has worked in all dance genres including Tap, Jazz and Ballet, completing his RAD Vocational Graded Examination in Dance, Advanced Foundation, earlier this year. We look forward to Kyle’s leadership.
Congratulations to Prep and Junior Ballet Students
Last week over 50 Prep and Junior school students took their annual RAD Graded Ballet examinations, via Zoom.
A big congratulations to all students for their hard work, perseverance and tenacity in preparing for over 12 weeks remotely, and then taking the Redlands ‘in house’ RAD exams via Zoom.
There were many really outstanding performances from many students in all grades, but most impressive was the overall improvement of many students in their musicality, spatial directions, coordinated head and arms, details in dynamics variation and performance quality.
The examination preparation remains an extremely important process, especially at this time, as students work to maintain and increase their skills, confidence and poise with the support of their wonderful ballet teachers, Ms Samantha, Ms Debbi, Ms Kate and Ms Maria.

Students Currently Enrolled at the Ballet and Dance Academy
If your student is currently enrolled at the Ballet and Dance Academy then you can secure their place in their existing class/classes now. Please note to change/add/discontinue classes, please complete our Change Request Form and submitted no later than Monday 8 November.
