The Shakespeare Festival
Our wonderful Shakespearean theatre performances, which were videoed individually, have been adjudicated by our guest Judge and Redlander, Tess Haubrich. Tess commented that across the board, everyone performed very well and there was a clear, mature sense of understanding of the language and characterisation which was wonderful to see. Overall, the projection, articulation and understanding of Shakespeare’s language and style was impressive. All the performers were passionate and prepared. Best Performance – The Taming of the Shrew (George Dunne, Daniel Thomas and Julia Parker)
Overall Winner – Liam Dow (for his performance of Lago)
Honourable Mention –
Macbeth Witches: Madison Bennett, Lucia Brown, Bridie Carmichael, Toby Griffiths.
Hamlet: Xavier Little and Lauren Weaver
Othello: Josh Green and Liam Dow
