Yr 10 Connections

Yr 10 students will be performing in a collection of dramatic and comedic scenes from Theatre of the Absurd in Connections 2019.
Solo Showcase “To thine own self be true”
11 and 12 June in the Drama Studio at 6.30pm
Yr 12 students will be presenting their individual works in performance, script writing and design for their final examination. Please join them as they step on to the stage for their solo showcase of major works.

Congratulations to Embla Bishop, (Arts Captain 2013), who recently opened in the musical Barnum with Todd McKenney. Embla graduated from WAAPA with a Bachelor of Music Theatre in 2016 and since then her professional credits include Jesus Christ Superstar, Brigadoon (The Production Company), Mrs Spencer in Merrily We Roll Along (Little Triangle), Oklahoma! (The Production Company), Princess Aurora in Sleeping Beauty (Ozpanto/Bonnie Lythgoe), and A Little Cabaret (Little Triangle). Embla’s film credits include Sally (Thundamentals) and Maddison in Three Summers (director Ben Elton) 2016. Embla is part of the Barnum ensemble and is understudy for the role of Charity Barnum, performing in this role unexpectedly on the first Saturday night of the show. On the following matinee, Embla also played the role of Jenny Lind singing in Swedish to a full house. Congratulations Embla on such fantastic opening weekend performances.
