Year 7
Stage Assembly
This week’s Stage Assembly was filled with exciting opportunities including StartUp Bootcamp (more information below!) and the upcoming school musical, High School Musical! The musical is taking place in Week 6 at The Concourse, Chatswood and is an amazing demonstration of the talents of our students (with some Yr 7 students included!), both onstage and backstage. Personally, I think this is one of the highlights of our school calendar and I encourage you to book your tickets here before they sell out!
We also celebrated four students who have embraced the start of their Secondary School journey with dedication, kindness and perseverance. Congratulations to Clara, Reuben, Esther and Edward, who received With Heart Awards for their commitment and contributions. The whole cohort is embodying the values of With Heart as they navigate this new chapter. Keep up the fantastic work!

Club Focus: Book Club ????
“Book Club is a cosy and great environment where students from Yr 7 to Yr 12 talk, smile, laugh and connect with each other and books. It’s an escape from overwhelming life and you forget about any problems or stress. Book Club is a safe place, a second home, an escape from reality. From the free food to the random tangents it is the place to be and the place you’ll love.”

Club Focus: Run Club ????
“We are two Year 7’s that started run club this week with four other kids. Run Club is a great opportunity to meet new friends, get ready for cross country and improve your overall fitness. We run from St Leonards park, around 1-4 times and back, it has lots of hills with a mix of flat areas. It is a great way to challenge yourself (especially if you’re in year 7)! Regardless of age or experience, Run Club is a great way to put yourself out there and try your hardest. For example, today we got PB’s for trying to catch up with the older kids. In conclusion, you don’t have to be the best runner to join you can come for a good time!”
