Clubs in Full Swing Following the Activities Fair
Following the enthusiasm of last week’s Activities Fair, students eagerly participated in the many clubs and societies offered this week. With a wide range of activities catering to different interests and talents, students have been embracing new opportunities, building friendships and engaging in meaningful pursuits outside the classroom.
Whether it was strategic thinking in Chess Club, mentoring in the Big Sister Club or teamwork in Theatresports, it has been fantastic to see students immerse themselves in their chosen activities. The Gardening Club kicked off with an engaging introduction to sustainable gardening, while the Etching Club began carving their etches on magazine cutouts.
For parents looking to support their child’s involvement, we encourage discussions about their experiences in these clubs – what they enjoyed, what they learned and what they hope to achieve. Encouragement from home plays a significant role in sustaining student engagement and commitment.
Below is the weekly schedule of clubs for reference:
As the term progresses, we look forward to seeing students continue to develop their skills, form new friendships and take advantage of the many enriching experiences these clubs provide. If your child is still considering joining a club, it’s not too late – encourage them to get involved and try something new!
