Cocurricular Clubs
A Call Out to all Senior Leaders for the Big Sister Club
As your children enter their final year at Redlands, we encourage them to explore the wide range of cocurricular opportunities available. One such initiative is the Big Sister Club, which fosters connection and mentorship between Year 12 students and younger Year Groups.
The Big Sister Club provides a supportive environment where younger students can seek advice on managing school assignments, handling stress and balancing their school life. It’s a valuable opportunity for Year 12 students to share their knowledge, mentor their younger peers and make a lasting, positive impact on the school community.
We are currently seeking Year 12 students to join the Big Sister Club as mentors. Their involvement can help create a welcoming and inclusive space for our younger students, while also building leadership skills and deepening connections within the Redlands community.
If your child is interested in becoming a mentor, they can contact their Year Advisor, Ms Lisa Vale and Ms Meta Regis for more information. We appreciate your support in encouraging their participation.
Thank you to Helena Lewis and Miriam Killin from Year 7 for sharing their insights at the Year 12 Year Assembly on Monday.

Stagecraft in Action: A Journey to Performance
Senior Acting Club has provided a creative outlet for our talented students every Monday lunchtime in the Drama Studio. Over the term, students have honed their acting skills and dedicated themselves to rehearsing a variety of plays, showcasing their passion for the performing arts. Each rehearsal has been filled with energy, creativity and collaboration as students explore different characters and theatrical techniques.
In the second last week of term, the culmination of their hard work will be presented to cocurricular performing arts students and staff. This performance will allow the Senior Acting members to share their progress and artistic development, bringing their characters to life on stage. We are excited to see how each student’s unique interpretation will contribute to a memorable performance that celebrates the spirit of creativity and teamwork within the Senior Acting Club.
A special thanks to Ms Amber Virtue for her guidance and support throughout the term, ensuring the success of the students’ performances.
