Year 7

Yr 7s First Week

Thank you for all of your support in our Yr 7 Transition Day. Students were able to meet their Tutor and many members of staff while organising their Student Planners, connecting to the Redlands network, being introduced to school rules, assigning lockers, experiencing their first Secondary School Chapel and enjoying a sausage sizzle. The weather was very warm and students were extremely impressive in their behaviour and positive energy.

This week, Yr 7 students will have their first one-on-one meeting with their Tutors, be introduced to the Redlands Approaches to Learning rubric, participate in a Camp briefing, attend their first classes and their first Sport rotation. With Camp next week, we will revisit many aspects of their new classes and schedule in Week 3.

Students received a copy of their schedules today.  If students are in Music classes, please support us in ensuring these Music lessons do not consistently fall in the same subject lessons.

Camp

The Yr 7 Camp meeting point for Monday 4 February will be Dunnet Hall at  6.00am. Our Yr 7 team asks for your support in saying goodbye at the door and allowing your children to enter the Hall in a timely manner to leave on schedule.
