Sewing Bee Evening

Calling all parents.
The Academy has the huge task of making special tutu skirts for every ballet student from Kindy to Yr 6 for our Degas piece. Costume Designer Kassandra Giotopoulis Moore has very kindly offered to create a simple prototype and will be at school on the evening of Monday 15 August. This tutorial will be held in the Senior Textiles Department, 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
We need all the help we can get with this mammoth task, so if you have any experience at all or would like to learn, please register now.

REDLANDS MUSICAL ANNOUNCEMENT 2023
THE ADDAMS FAMILY features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family — a man her parents have never met.
And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.
This is a show that has proven itself over and over with a multitude of productions being staged globally. The original Broadway production ran for722 performances.
AND NOW ITS OUR TURN REDLANDS. AUDITION INFORMATION WILL BE COMING OUT IN THE UPCOMING WEEKS.
