Shrek The Musical
“Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek…”
Last week Ms Wang and I had the absolute privilege of watching the three-day extravaganza of Shrek The Musical. We were absolutely blown away by the dynamic nature of this performance. From singing to dancing, costume and stage sets, orchestral brilliance, this was a performance not to be missed.
This will be a performance never to be forgotten, and a clear demonstration of the wealth of talent our Redlands students continue to display. Congratulations to our Yr 9 students who were involved:
- Tali Feldman – Ugly duckling and Knight 4
- Remie Gibbs – Puss in Boots and Pied Piper
- Aneke Golowenko – Fairy Godmother and Guard 3
- Amber Hosker – Dance Ensemble
- Freya Kittle – Elf and Guard 2
- Charlotte Kwintner – Gretel and Chainmail Guard
- Max Perry – Young Shrek, Hunter and Chainmail Guard
- Liam Petersen – Hansel, Chainmail Guard and Dish and Spoon
- Hiro Phillips – Peter Pan
- Lucile Thompson – Baby Bear
A significant amount of energy, enthusiasm and hard work has gone into this year’s musical and we would like to acknowledge and thank the students and staff for their dedication and commitment.
Balmoral Swim Schools Relay Challenge
Redlands will be participating in the 2022 Balmoral Swim Schools Relay Challenge this weekend, Sunday 3 April. The Schools Relay Challenge is a community-based initiative where schools help raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Institute, increase awareness of this important cause and importantly have fun participating in an open water swim relay.
We wish all students involved well for the event.
