Kindergarten Orientation for 2022
On Wednesday 17 November the children moving to Kindergarten at Redlands will have an orientation morning. The children will visit the classrooms in the Prep School and have a chance to explore the environment and prepare them for the coming year. Please ensure the children have arrived at school by 9.00am on this day. Please bring your child to school as you usually would, the Redlands staff will take them to the Prep classrooms for the morning.
Transition Gold Orientation for 2022
On Wednesday 17 November the children moving to Transition Class at Redlands in 2022 will have an orientation morning from 9am to 10.30am. Children in our Senior program will be taken on the day to the Transition classroom by Redlands House staff. Children from the Junior program that do not normally attend on a Wednesday can be dropped off and collected from Prep Reception. A staff member will be available at reception to greet you and take the children to the classroom.
Term 1 2022 Prep Sport Update
In exciting sports news, Expression of Interest (EOI) for Term 1 2022 Prep After-School Sport (Redlands House Seniors, Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2) will open on Monday 22 November at 1:00pm. In Term 1, the following sports will be available:
- Tennis (Monday & Friday)
- Football (Monday)
- Basketball (Monday & Friday)
Registration for all sports will take place in an EOI Form (one form for all sports) through a link on the Prep Sport Pulse page. All Prep families will be notified via email one week prior to registration opening and again once the EOI form is live. Please ensure that the school has your preferred contact email on your Engage records. Registration is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from the Prep Sport Administrator. Families will be informed either way regarding the result of their EOI Form. Families must re-register each term and registrations DO NOT roll over.
Each sport has limited spaces available for each year group. This is ensure a quality experience is offered to students with a low student-coach ratio. It is anticipated that spots in all sports will fill very quickly.
December-January Vacation Care 2021-2022
If you would like your child to attend the December 2021-January 2022 Vacation Care program, please visit the OOSH page on Pulse from Friday 12th November in order to preview all information pertaining to the holiday activity schedule and daily requirements. The Flexischools website www.flexischools.com.au will be open on Monday 15th November at 12:00pm to make any bookings. Last Day Arrangements
The last day of the year for Redlands House students is the Tuesday 30 November. Redlands House will close after the Prep School Assembly at 12.30pm. Please note there is no Late Room on this day.
