Community Update

This week saw the launch of the Redlands Strategic Plan which will guide the direction of our School for the next five years. As in all aspects of Redlands life, our journey to 2025 will continue to be one shared in community. Parents, staff, students, alumni, Board Directors and members of the wider School community have all contributed to an abundance of thought that has shaped the five strategic drivers of our intent.

Our strategic drivers of Culture of Innovation, Personal Excellence, Quality Staff, Culture of Wellbeing and Sustainable Facility Development will guide us in nurturing every student to achieve their potential. Together, these drivers support our aspiration for Redlands as a leading contemporary and innovative school inspiring students to adapt, create and thrive in our complex global community.  We are excited about the journey our School will take in the next five years and look forward to working in partnership with the Redlands community to implement our Strategic Plan.

The safety and wellbeing of the Redlands community remains at the core of our planned return to On-Campus Learning in Term 4. Our planning continues under guidance from NSW Health and the NSW Association of Independent Schools, and we remain sensitive to the needs of our school community. We will share our Return to On-Campus Learning Plan with families very soon.

Thank you to those who have generously given through our Foundation and Service programs. There is still time to contribute.  To read more about these important and noble causes please visit Foundation.

If you are looking to connect with our community for support then please reach out to us here at the School or the passionate and diverse experience of our class and year group parents, the RPFA and Friends of Groups that support Redlands families.

We continue to monitor advice from NSW Health and the Association of Independent Schools of NSW and will keep our community informed.  A reminder that all COVID-19 related communications to parents and other relevant information is posted on the COVID-19 Page of Redlands Pulse. Our ICT team are also available to provide remote technical support to assist students (and parents) and can be contact at isupport@redlands.nsw.edu.au.

I remain grateful for the continued guidance and support our community provides and, as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.

The Community Engagement team wish you all a happy, healthy and peaceful break with your family.

Keep well and stay safe.
