Yr 12 Study Sessions June/ July School Holidays – HSC and IB
Yr 12 Students will have the opportunity to attend subject specific holiday workshops during the June/July School holidays. These workshops will run during Weeks 1 and 3 (please note – no workshops during Week 2). Students can access the full timetable on iLearn on the Yr 12 Pastoral Page under notices.
Week 1: IB – Dance
Week 1: HSC – Dance, Drama, Textiles and Design
Week 3: IB – Chemistry, Geography, English HL, English Literature, Physics, History, IB English Essay, Visual Arts, Maths IA HL, English Language and Literature
Week 3: HSC – English Adv & Std, PDHPE, English Adv Modules A, B & C & common module, Chemistry, Spanish Continuers, Biology, Economics, Physics, Visual Arts and Dance
Yr 12 School Formal
We are looking forward to the Yr 12 Formal this Friday evening at the Shangri-La Hotel. The event begins at 7pm and students will be COVID and Alcohol tested on arrival. The Formal is not in the Ballroom but in a function room downstairs at the Shangri-La. It is a great space but unfortunately the layout isn’t such with a foyer or area to view the students as they arrive. Due to these restrictions, we recommend that parents take photos at home prior to students departing. Parents will not be required to collect students from the venue.
Yr 12 Careers Expo at Moore Park
On the 3rd June, Yr 12 students attended the Careers Expo at Moore Park. It was a most informative afternoon as students had the opportunity to make connections with staff from tertiary institutions. Sincere thanks to Ms Simone Salier for her organisation of this opportunity for students.
NSW CIS Cross Country Carnival
NSW CIS XC carnival was held at the Sydney Motorsports Park, Eastern Creek on Thursday 10 May. The conditions were tough – with competitors running in 5 degree weather and rain, which made the course muddy and slippery. Congratulations Emma and Felix for their commitment in such difficult conditions.
