Rugby
Over the holiday period Redlands Rugby will be running holiday sessions designed to upskill students across all facets of the game. These will be smaller grouped sessions with multiple coaches attending, meaning they can be more detailed and offer immediate feedback to the students involved.
The sessions will be run predominantly across the third week of the holidays with a smaller group of sessions throughout the second week as well. Whilst not compulsory, I would encourage any students who are available to attend these sessions. Session times will be sent to all students, parents and carers across the last day of school and can also be accessed via Redlands Pulse.
This weekend our three ISA Representatives, Joshua Hicks, William Pearson and Hugo Scott, will be participating in the NSW Schoolboy Championships. With a team training on Friday, they will prepare themselves for their opening match against a strong GPS side with the winner looking to face CAS in the second round. For anyone wishing to attend, all matches will be held at Waratahs HQ in Daceyville with the opening game for ISA being held at 11:10am.
I would also like to highlight one of our exceptional coaches who was again selected in the NSW Super W again and has also been selected in the Wallaroos. Piper Duck has been fantastic this season and has made an immediate impact, working predominantly as a Forwards Coach with our Under 15s. Please make sure to congratulate Piper when you next see her on the sidelines.
Tennis
No tennis this week. Happy holidays.
