This is Redlands

It was a pleasure to welcome parents and carers to our Junior School Open Morning earlier this week. Our Yr 2 and Yr 6 tour hosts did a magnificent job in guiding our guests through the Junior School, whilst openly sharing their experiences as a Redlands student, and our talented musicians charmed all with their wonderful performances.  A common thread in my discussions with visiting parents and carers was how impressive it was that our students were valued and known as individual learners and how they are challenged to develop and grow their unique passions and talents.

The sold out Redlands Arts Luncheon is just around the corner and we are delighted to be able to share the Redlands Online Auction items with our wider school community in order to bid.  The auction has some spectacular items up for sale that include accommodation packages, food and beverage vouchers, wellbeing experiences, beautiful artwork and much more. The auction is open to all and will close on Wednesday 26 May at 2.30pm. A reminder that proceeds raised from this unique event will be directed to the Belinda Oxley Scholarship in acknowledgement of her dedication to Redlands and passion for education.

My thanks to those who donated uniforms, and to the Redlands Uniform Shop and the ever active and passionate Redlands Parent and Friends Association (RPFA) for their collective effort in fulfilling the recent Second Hand Uniform Sale. This initiative enables us to recycle pre-loved uniforms back into the community whilst raising valuable funds for our means-tested Scholarship Fund.

I remain grateful for the continued guidance and support our community provides and, as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
