Term 2 commences – Tuesday 20 April.

International Day

As part of International Day, Yr 8 celebrated Redlands diverse international community, further highlighted by the cultures of the languages that we teach. There was an internationally-themed Tutor Period for all students, and Yr 8 participated in a variety of activities during the day. In the afternoon session, students took part in an Aboriginal incursion led by the Koomurri Group. This comprised of two different sessions involving a range of activities including an introduction to the didgeridoo and storytelling, Aboriginal song and dance, traditional face painting and Aboriginal art. A huge thank you to the Languages Department who produced a wonderful program for Yr 8.
