Redlands Secondary School Swimming Carnival
A reminder that our annual Redlands Secondary School Swimming Carnival will be held next Tuesday at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush. Buses will depart promptly at 7.15am from the Junior Campus. Students must be prompt on the morning to have their names marked off by their Tutors before boarding the buses. Students must wear a swimming costume, conservative and not revealing in style, preferably the Redlands swimming costume if they own one. This is a compulsory school event and our expectation is that all Yr 12 students will attend. A reminder to parents please to complete the online permission for this event if you have not already done so.
Rowing State Championships
The Rowing State Championships occurred last weekend at Penrith. Congratulations to all our Yr 12 students who participated.
Student Achievements
Jameson Prescott was selected to represent the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron at the Hardy Cup Sydney International Match Racing Regatta 2021 as part of a five person team. This event is a World Sailing Grade 3 competition and considered as one of the most prestigious regattas on the youth circuit. Jameson has been selected as the jib and spinnaker trimmer for the event based on his performance at training over the last nine months as part of the Squadron’s Keelboat program. This is a great opportunity to help further Jameson’s sailing within the match racing circuit and help him further develop his match racing tactics at high level competitions. He is wished every success during competition this week.
